Registration Workflow

If you have a hard token, please give us a call during your first time login as we need to register your device into the new system.

  1. User logs into XD (separate flow with SecureNow). Once authenticated, XD displays a Soft Token registration flow, and a Cronto image is generated (see XD Desktop below). User then opens the Digipass app on their mobile device.
  2. Digipass app displays the “Get Started” Screen.
  3. User Scans the CRONTO image displayed by XD (Desktop) with the mobile device camera (while Digipass app is open); Digipass will then generate a code.
  4. User enters the registration code in XD; selects Continue. (Process continues on the next slide)

  • User is set to Always challenge
  • Login:
    • Normally uses SecureNow (Risk/OTP)
    • Users can be forced to use token on login
    • If a user has logged in using tokens, XD views this as a stronger form of authentication
  • Step up Configuration:
    • Always challenge: Software Token OTP always generated Risk-based: Challenge only if user has not been challenged before
    • Behavioral-based challenge: requires Behavioral Analytics, separate option
