Teaching Financial Literacy at the New London-Spicer High School Senior Expo
Lake Region Bank’s personal bankers Lisa Groff and Jeremy Schmidt provided financial education on personal finances after high school to New London-Spicer high school seniors at the school’s Senior Expo. Topics discussed included budgeting, bank terminology, deposit accounts, loans, credit cards, credit scores, and bank trivia.
Minnesota Bankers Association Community Impact Month
Lake Region Bank put together welcome back baskets for local teachers and staff in the Willmar Public School District, New London-Spicer School District, and Community Christian School of Willmar.
Kandiyohi County Food Shelf
Our team raised more than $1,000 for the Kandiyohi County Food Shelf’s 17th Annual Radio for Relief fundraiser.
40 Years with the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce

Community Banks Blood Drive
In spring 2021, Lake Region Bank partnered with our community bank neighbors to host a blood drive for the American Red Cross.
Masks for New London Students
In September 2020, Lake Region Bank donated face masks to Kindergartens through fourth graders in the New London School District.
ALS Bucket Challenge
Lake Region Bank raised a total of $1,131 for the ALS Association! Clark took the bucket of ice water like a champ! Thanks to all who donated!
