Portugal Trip: APRIL 7 – 15, 2026

Join us on an amazing adventure to Panoramic Portugal! We’ll spend three nights in central Lisbon, surrounded by beautiful architecture, vibrant colors, and old-world charm. We’ll attend a traditional fado show-a musical performance that showcases Portuguese culture and music. We’ll visit the stunning Jeronimo’s Monastery-a UNESCO World Heritage Site-and a local tile workshop, where we try our hands at creating our own tile masterpieces!

We’ll travel to the historic and romantic Sintra to see magnificent palaces and the beautiful countryside. We’ll journey to Fatima, where we’ll enjoy the serene surroundings of this world-renowned pilgrimage site, followed by a guided walking tour of the prestigious University of Coimbra, one of the oldest in Europe.

After an overnight in Coimbra, we’ll travel to charming city of Porto for three nights! Here we’ll indulge in local cuisine, stunning architecture, delicious wine, and beautiful scenery. We’ll enjoy two boat rides-one on the picturesque Douro River, surrounded by vineyards, and the other along the coastline at sunset. You’ll have time to explore the magic of Porto on your own before we make our way back to Lisbon for our flight home!


TUESDAY, APRIL 7 (In-flight meal) 

Today we transfer to the airport to board our overnight flight bound for Lisbon, Portugal

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8 (Dinner) 

Upon our arrival in Lisbon, we’ll head into the city center for some free time to get lunch at a local café or shop for unique souvenirs. This afternoon, we’ll embark on an easygoing guided walking tour of the city’s rich history and vibrant culture. Discover iconic landmarks, charming neighborhoods, and hidden gems as your knowledgeable guide shares captivating stories. 

Later this afternoon, we’ll check into the Avani Avenida da Liberdade Hotel for the next three nights. This evening we are in for a delightful welcome dinner, where we will savor traditional Portuguese cuisine and toast to the adventures that lie ahead. 

THURSDAY, APRIL 9 (Breakfast, Dinner) 

After breakfast, we’ll experience the rich history and culture of Lisbon on a guided walking tour in Belém. We’ll visit the stunning Jerónimos Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its Manueline architecture and intricate stone carvings. 

Our next stop is a local tile workshop where we will experience the artistry of traditional Portuguese azulejos, learning from skilled artisans and trying our hand at creating our own tile masterpiece. Take time for lunch on your own at one of the charming local restaurants nearby. At dinner this evening, we’ll savor traditional Portuguese dishes while listening to live performances of soulful Fado music that capture the essence of Portuguese culture. 

FRIDAY, APRIL 10 (Breakfast) 

Experience the enchanting beauty of Sintra with a full-day guided tour designed to immerse you in the region’s rich history and breathtaking landscapes. Our journey begins with a scenic drive to Sintra, where we’ll marvel at the vibrant colors and stunning architecture of the town. Upon arrival, our expert guide will take us to the iconic Park and National Palace of Pena, a UNESCO World Heritage site standing atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Explore the palace’s intricate interiors, adorned with stunning artwork and rich historical significance. Stroll through the lush gardens that surround the palace, featuring exotic plants and whimsical structures that transport you to a fairytale realm. After our visit, we’ll have time in Sintra to explore the local shops and have lunch on our own at one of the charming cafes. Upon our return to Lisbon, the evening is yours to enjoy! 

SATURDAY, APRIL 11 (Breakfast, Dinner) 

Our journey begins today with an exclusive visit to Fátima, where you can explore the serene surroundings of this world-renowned pilgrimage site. 

After some time for lunch, we’ll have a guided walking tour in Coimbra, a city steeped in history and culture. Discover the prestigious University of Coimbra, one of the oldest universities in Europe, where you will be captivated by its stunning architecture and rich heritage. We’ll check into the Hotel Coimbra Aeminium for one night. This evening, we’ll relish a delightful dinner at the hotel. 

SUNDAY, APRIL 12 (Breakfast, Dinner) 

Today we will experience the vibrant city of Porto with a walking tour designed to immerse us in the rich culture and history of this stunning destination. We’ll begin our adventure at the iconic Bolhão Market, where we will indulge in a delightful cheese tasting that showcases the unique flavors of the region. After savoring the local delicacies, we’ll continue our exploration with visits to the magnificent Porto Cathedral and the historic Stock Exchange Palace, both of which offer breathtaking architecture and fascinating stories. Have lunch on your own at one of the local eateries or enjoy a leisurely stroll through the charming streets of Porto. 

Later today, we check into the Hotel Pestana Porto – A Brasileira for three nights. This historic 5-star hotel features a century-old café and is located right in the heart of Porto’s city center. This evening we’ll have another delicious dinner at a local restaurant, where we will savor authentic Portuguese cuisine. 

MONDAY, APRIL 13 (Breakfast, Lunch) 

Embark on an unforgettable half-day guided visit to the stunning Pacheca Vineyard, where we will immerse ourselves in the world of exquisite wines. Enjoy a delightful tasting session that showcases the rich flavors and unique characteristics of the vineyard’s offerings. A delicious lunch is included with this exclusive tour, allowing us to savor local cuisine paired perfectly with the vineyard’s finest wines. 

After our vineyard experience, we will embark on a private one-hour Rabelo boat trip on the picturesque Douro River. This tranquil journey on an iconic Portuguese wooden boat will offer breathtaking views of the terraced vineyards and charming landscapes that define the Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll have a free evening to explore Porto’s many local dining options. 

TUESDAY, APRIL 14 (Breakfast, Dinner) 

Our journey today includes an exclusive private visit and workshop along the enchanting Filigree Route, where we’ll learn the intricate art of filigree jewelry-making. Discover the history and craftsmanship behind this traditional craft! 

We’ll have a free afternoon to explore Porto, indulging in the city’s vibrant culture and hidden gems, before taking a mesmerizing two-hour private sunset boat cruise along the iconic Porto coastline. Witness breathtaking views of the city’s landmarks from the water! This evening we’ll enjoy a farewell dinner, savoring delicious local cuisine. 

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15 (Breakfast) 

After breakfast, we will transfer to the Porto airport and bid farewell to this beautiful country. We’ll be taking with us treasured memories of our idyllic trip to Panoramic Portugal. Until next time, “Tchau!”
