Big Changes Are Coming! Why We’re Upgrading Our Online & Mobile Banking System

Your Lake Region Bank online and mobile banking experience is getting an upgrade! The enhanced system with a new, easier-to-use platform launches between May 18 and 20 with a more user-friendly design, added convenience, and robust security features.

Your Lake Region Bank online and mobile banking experience is getting an upgrade! Our easier, more convenient online banking platform will be going live between May 18 and 20. It has all the tools you need to achieve your financial goals and meet your everyday banking needs while building on the robust security features you already expect from us.

Let’s take a closer look at what the new system offers you and what you can do to prepare for the switch.

User-Friendly Experience

Our new online and mobile banking system offers you a streamlined experience that makes it easy to manage your money from your home, business, or phone. The clean, sleek dashboard gives you an at-a-glance look at account balances. The Quick Transfer tool allows you instantly transfer money between your accounts.

What’s more, you’ll be able to send money to family, friends, and anyone else you know through our cash transfer feature, Zelle. You’ll continue to have access to Bill Pay, and you’ll also be able to protect, control, and manage your Lake Region Bank debit cards.

More Convenient

Lake Region Bank’s new and improved online banking system puts all of your accounts on a single dashboard so you can see your whole financial picture. You’ll find it is faster to navigate between accounts and easier to manage your accounts overall. When the new system comes online on May 20, we encourage you to check out the new, real-time notifications so you can make more informed financial decisions.

Highly Secure

Our new online banking system builds on the robust security features of our previous system. Customized account alerts allow you to monitor spending and guard against fraud on your checking and savings accounts as well as your Lake Region Bank debit cards.

What You Can Do to Prepare

We will be switching over to our new system in mid-May. On May 18 at 5:00 pm, access to the current online system will be shut down for approximately 40 hours. The new system will launch on May 20 at 8:00 am.

During this time, you will not be able to access your accounts online or in the mobile app. We encourage you to contact us or visit your local branch location to manage your accounts while the online system is offline.

Before May 18, we encourage you to:

  1. Review and update your Lake Region Bank online banking profile to confirm it includes your current phone number and email address.
  2. Watch your email and current digital banking account for details on how to set up your upgraded online login and download the new mobile app.
  3. Save or print a copy of your external transfer history for your records.
  4. Download the new Lake Region Bank mobile banking app once it becomes available.

You can find more information about the update and how to prepare on our website or stop in at any Lake Region Bank location for additional details. We’re here to help you make the most of your new online banking experience.

Online Banking System Change FAQs

When will the new online and mobile banking system go live?

The upgrade will take place between Monday, May 18 and Wednesday, May 20. After that time, you can begin using the new online banking dashboard and mobile app.

Will my existing account information transfer to the new system?

Yes. Your transaction history, bill pay payees, scheduled payments, internal transfers, recurring internal transfers, and eStatement settings will carry over automatically.

Which items will not transfer to the new system?

You will need to reestablish a few settings in the new system. These include alerts settings, card control settings, and external transfers.

What do I need to do before May 18?

Please review your online banking profile to ensure your email and phone number are current, watch for setup instructions in your email, save any external transfer history you want to keep, and be prepared to download the new mobile banking app.

How do I log in for the first time after the upgrade?

Use your existing User ID and Password. You’ll receive a text or phone call with a one-time passcode to verify your identity, then enter that code to log in securely.

What if I forgot my User ID or Password?

If you need your User ID, contact us at 320-235-5900. If you need to reset your password, click “Forgot Password” on the login screen and follow the prompts.

How do I download the new mobile app?

On or after May 20, you can either follow the redirect from our current app to download the new one, or search “Lake Region Bank” in your app store and download it directly. Then simply log in with your existing credentials and delete the old app.

Will biometric login still work?

Yes, but you will need to re-enable biometrics (such as Face ID or fingerprint login) after you sign in to the new mobile app for the first time.
